 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BetCBSports POSTS ODDS ON: “WILL PETE ROSE BE REINSTATED TO MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL? WILL HE MANAGE A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM AGAIN? WILL HE BE INDUCTED INTO THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME?

(Zapote, Costa Rica, 06 January 2004)-There were many people who truly thought this day would never come. There were many who hoped it never would. January 5, 2004, will forever be known in sports history as the day Pete Rose finally admitted to something, that everyone in the free world seemed to know, except Rose himself. That is, he bet on the Cincinnati Reds while managing the club. Unfortunately, the news was not much of a surprise to the legions of baseball fans, which have debated one of sports' most controversial issues, ever, for over 14 years.

Rose, who regardless of his indiscretions, has always been considered one of the greatest ever to play America’s favorite pastime. Baseball's all-time hits leader was banned from the game for life in 1989, after allegations surfaced that forced Commissioner Bart Giamatti, to conclude that Rose did, in fact, "bet on baseball." Since that day, Rose has vehemently denied ever betting on baseball, yet alone on his team. "Charlie Hustle", who would have been a sure-fire, first-ballot, Hall-of-Famer, had he not been banned for life from the game he claims he loved, is thought by many, to be a disgrace to the sport, for betting on his own team.

In his autobiography, "My Prison Without Bars," Rose admits that he gambled on the Cincinnati Reds while he was the team's skipper. "I've consistently heard the statement: “If Pete Rose came clean, all would be forgiven," he writes. Well, I've done what you've asked. The rest is up to the Commissioner, (Bud Selig), and the big umpire in the sky."

"To be perfectly honest, no matter how great a baseball player you think Pete Rose is, the bottom line is that he's just a degenerate gambler, who looks at enshrinement into the Hall of Fame as the biggest bet that he could ever win, says BetCBSports Senior Odds Maker, Dan "The Man" Johnson.”How sweet the irony, that we at BetCBSports (www.betcbsports.com), are offering fans the opportunity to disgrace Pete Rose this time around, by betting on him."

BetCBSports is proud to release odds on whether Pete Rose will be reinstated into Major League Baseball? If he is reinstated, will he manage again? Will he be elected into the Hall of Fame?

Will Pete Rose be reinstated to Major League Baseball by opening day 2005?
Yes. Pete Rose will be reinstated into MLB by opening day 2005. +100
No. Pete Rose will not be reinstated into MLB by opening day 2005. -200
Note: a bet on YES, includes Rose being reinstated on a probationary or restricted status.

Will Pete Rose manage a Major League Baseball team again by opening day 2005?
Yes. Pete Rose will be managing a MLB team full-time, by opening day.

+1200
No. Pete Rose will not be managing a MLB team full-time, by opening day.

-2000
Note: This bet has action regardless of whether he is fully reinstated or not. Rose must be a full-time manager for the bet to have action. If Rose is named as an interim manager, the bet is void.

Will Pete Rose be inducted into the Baseball Hall-of-Fame as a result of balloting to be done in December 2005 for induction in January 2006?
Yes. Pete Rose will be inducted into the baseball Hall-of-Fame. -200
No - Pete Rose will not be inducted into the baseball Hall-of-Fame. +100
Note: Rose must be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame by January 2006 meaning he would have be on the 2005 ballot, which is released in December of 2005, for bet to be valid.

ABOUT BetCBSports.com

BetCBSports is a privately held, offshore, online, gaming company. It is fully licensed and is located in beautiful San Jose, Costa Rica, a major center of online gaming. It got into the business in a very deliberate and independent way. Nine years ago, several staffers, now management of BetCBSports, got together to review the state of the online gambling industry. They quickly concluded that there was extraordinary potential for success, and they also realized there was a clear need for a professional, secure and service driven facility for the growing numbers of online players.

Characteristically, the BetCBSports planners got off to a quick start. BetCBSports created a modest internet business that appeared to meet the perceived need. During the intervening years since then, it has continually proved it has the right formula, because it has grown and improved every year. Today, it is part of an expanding affiliate network that includes over fifty sports book companies.

BetCBSports now offers online and telephone sports betting, casino gambling, horse racing and Poker rooms. It specializes in propositional wagering, in fact, it appears to be setting the example and leading the way.

Behind the action and the play offered by BetCBSports is a knowledgeable and respected staff. They recognize the universal fact that players, i.e., their many guests, come first. Customer service, we are told, is more than a polite catch-phrase, it is more like a way of life at BetCBSports. The staff continually strive to ensure the security, privacy, and quick service for all of their customers.
