Malaysian Grand Prix

After the exhilarating race in Oz, the drivers head to Malaysia next weekend for the second GP of the Formula One calendar.

History repeated itself once again in Australia as Michael Schumacher drove to another GP win 'Down Under'. It was the perfect start to the season for Ferrari's number one, who is striving for his 5th Drivers Championship (and his third in consecutive years) in 2002. The Australian result is ominous for the other contenders as the German was victorious in Oz in both 2000 and 2001 on the way to the title. While Schumi was taking the plaudits from the Albert Park crowd, his brother Ralf could only sit and watch, as he, along with eight other drivers exited after crashing on the first lap of the race.

Michael Schumacher's recent record at the Sepang track is as impressive as his record 'Down Under'. After claiming his third consecutive win in Australia, the German will now be attempting to repeat that feat in Malaysia. He is an 8/11 shot to grab glory once again. Mark Webber proved to be the surprise package in Oz. Not only did the 25 year old Australian complete the race in his Minardi he also snatched 2 Championship points for finishing fifth. He is 28/1 to finish in the top six in Malaysia.
