BACKING TOMIC IN THE RUN
BERNARD TOMIC is fast becoming a great betting proposition during his
matches.
He started $1.60 against Fernando Verdasco but got to $8 after trailing by
two sets.
Again a warm favourite ($1.33) against Sam Querry was $2.40 after dropping
the opening set.
Australia’s top-ranked male will once again start favourite ($1.68) in his
round 3 match against Alexandr Dolgopolov ($2.20).
Punters will be watching him closely and be set to pounce if he drops the
first set.
AUSTRALIAN OPEN - TOMIC
$51>$41 – WON Kooyong Final (14 January)
$41>$34 – BEAT Fernando Verdasco (16 January)
$34>$26 – BEAT Sam Querry (18 January)
Opened $51 on 13 September 2011
$1,000 at $41 after he won the final at Kooyong.
There are literally hundreds of bets between $50 and $100.
Bernard Tomic is already commanding the same level of interest that
Lleyton Hewitt had when he made the final in 2005.
ACADEMY AWARDS
George Clooney has firmed from $1.65 to $1.50 for best actor (The
Descendants) after his Golden Globe award. “The buzz surrounding Clooney
in Hollywood is gaining momentum on a daily basis – he looks very hard to
beat.”
Meryl Streep is also $1.90 to $1.70 for her work in Iron Lady. “Streep is
popular but we are happy to risk her as the competition does look stronger
amongst the women.”
NFL – CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
$1.65 San Francisco
$2.15 New York Giants
$1.28 New England
$3.50 Baltimore
THE Divisional playoffs last week produced two stunning upsets with Green
Bay and New Orleans both beaten.
The Packers, who were favourite ($3.00) to win the Superbowl, were upset
by the New York Giants.
One customer is hoping for another big upset this weekend. They have $1000
at $26 and $3000 at $17 on Baltimore Ravens. They will collect $77,000 if
the Ravens win the Superbowl.
FOURTH TEST
$1.75 Australia
$3.50 Draw
$4.50 India
The early betting trend doesn’t surprise. 95% of the money has been for
Australia.
Aussies for $26 to clean sweep the series.
The draw has been kept safe on a deck that is expected to favour batsmen.
TENDULKAR 100TH CENTURY
$3.50 Adelaide
$1.28 Not this series
Despite failing to score a ton this series punters keep lining up to see
Tendulkar’s 100th International century.
He is $4 into $3.50 to score a century in the Adelaide Test. The toss in
Adealide will be critical and if India bat first you could see them piling
on some runs.

GOLD COAST CENTRE OF A-LEAGUE PLUNGE
TAB Sportsbet customers are banking on Wellington’s poor away record this
weekend when they meet Gold Coast.
Gold Coast have firmed from $2.10 to $1.95 with
$15,000 at $2.10 and $4,000 at the
same price.
BROICH BACK!!
Brisbane Roar have firmed from $1.75 to $1.65 to win the clash. The
biggest bet has been $18,000 at $1.75
which was followed by $8,000 at the same price.
TAB Sportsbet punters are very forgiving of Brisbane Roar and this week is
no different.
In other betting this round Central Coast Mariners have been backed from
$1.60 to $1.50 to account for Newcastle.
AUSSIE OPEN – WOMEN’S A LOTTERY
Sam Stosur has drifted from $7 to $16 after losing in the second round of
Brisbane and first round of Sydney.
Petra Kvitova is hard to fault and the logical favourite. Serena Williams
has gone from $2.75 to $4.50 since withdrawing from Brisbane last week.
ALL EYES ON TOMIC
Bernard Tomic is $41 to win the Australian Open and the fifth most popular
player in betting.
Novak Djokovic accounts for 70% of all bets on the Men’s winner – he has
been a massive plunge. Punters are not willing to risk backing Roger
Federer and Rafael Nadal with question marks over their fitness. Murray
found form winning in Brisbane but has failed to win a Grand Slam.
Djokovic money trail:
$27,000 at $2.50 (1 Nov)
$25,000 at $2.50 (12 Oct)
$20,000 at $2.75 (17 Nov)
$10,000 at $2.80 (31 Dec)
We did take $5,000 on Nadal at $7 in the past week, he has since drifted
to $7.50.
Double – $2,000 at $19 Djokovic / Clijsters
Double - $375 at $660 Tomic / Stosur
AUSTRALIA
TO WRAP UP SERIES IN PERTH
70% of all money on the result market has been for the Aussies. If the
money is correct they will wrap up the Test series which was $2.25 before
the first Test.
Some of the bigger wagers include $10,000 at
$1.70 and $7,000 at $1.70 but there is no shortage of
four-figure bets.
Given the venue, the draw is long-odds at $5 with very little interest.
“Everybody is expecting a result and we can’t lure any punters in on the
draw.”
There is no money to indicate Michael Clarke will replicate his form from
Sydney. He is $7 to have the highest innings of the match but punters are
reluctant to have any part. Michael Hussey is the best backed in that
market at $11.00.
RYAN HARRIS is expected to have immediate impact when he returns to the
Australian team. He is $5.00 equal favourite with Ben Hilfenhaus to take
the most wickets in the match.
Result
Australia $1.70
Draw $5.00
India $3.50
PUNTERS TIP TENDULKAR TO WAIT FOR RECORD
Punters are taking the value and backing Sachin Tendulkar to make his 100th
International century in Adelaide.
They expect him to fall short of the milestone at the WACA but hit-back on
a batting friendly Adelaide deck.
Tendulkar 100th century
Perth $3.50
Adelaide $5.00
Not this series $1.65
RAVENS ALL THE RAGE
Baltimore has been the best backed team for this weekend’s Divisional
Playoffs.
Moments after opening we took a bet of $75,000 at $1.33 followed by
another bet of $16,000 at the same price.
One customer even placed a multi - $50,000 at
$2.92 on the Sydney Sixers (to beat Adelaide Strikers) into
Baltimore. The Sixers won their Big Bash clash on Tuesday night and that
now leaves the Ravens to win for a collect of $146,000.
However, statistics are not on Baltimore’s side; they have lost both
playoff games they have hosted in the last nine years.
In both of those losses they started favourite.
Baltimore bets:
$75,000 at $1.33
$14,000 at $1.33
Head to Head - Monday 5am
Balimore $1.25
Houston $3.75
6th January 2012
NEW AUSTRALIAN OPEN FAVOURITE
Petra Kvitova has reopened as the new favourite to win the Australian Open
at $4.25.
In a huge rise to fame, Kvitova was $251 this time last year to win the
Aussie Open.
“In 2011 she won Wimbledon and made her mark as one of the top players on
the WTA Tour.”
Serena Williams was the clear favourite for the 2012 title at $2.75 but
has drifted to $4.50 after pulling out of Brisbane.
Sam Stosur has only drifted slightly after her shock loss (she was $1.08)
on Wednesday. She lost to Iveta Benesova who is rated $1,001 to win the
Aussie Open.
BIG BASH
HEAD TO HEAD
Hurricanes $1.60
Heat $2.30
BETS:
$15,000 at $1.65
$30,000 at $1.60
The Hurricanes are yet to taste defeat after four matches of the Big Bash
and are considered a lock by punters.
They have been heavily backed to beat the Heat who are yet to register a
win.
“It wouldn’t surprise if the Heat cause an upset, anything can happen in
this form of the game.”
A-LEAGUE
One punter clearly isn’t concerned about Brisbane’s lack of form. They
placed $20,000 at $2.25 on the Roar to beat Adelaide United as soon as
betting opened.
The Roar drifted from $3.50 to $3.65 to win the A-League Grand Final after
drawing to Perth.
Central
Coast, also backed with $15,000 at $2.45 to beat Sydney, are now clear
favourite for the title at $3.
TEST
- $50,000 on Australia at $2.20 pre-game.
Clarke and Ponting both paid $6.50 to make a 1st innings
century, while Hussey was $7.
The run chase sets the stage for Tendulkar to make his 100th
International century – he will start his innings $4 to do so.
TEST SERIES
Before 1st Test
Australia $2.20
Drawn Series $3.75
India $2.60
Clean Sweep
Australia were $26 to win the Test series 4-0 with little support. After
winning the 1st Test in Melbourne they firmed to $9 and will
half their quote with a win in Sydney.

GOLF
One TAB Sportsbet customer is certainly
riding on the coat-tails of Greg Chalmers and his current purple patch of
form.
The Australian Open & PGA champion was the
last leg of a 14-leg Multi this afternoon and all he had to do was shoot a
lower 1st round score than his playing partners Robert Allenby and Matteo
Manassero.
Of course his previous 13 legs all had to
be successful as well but he accomplished that feat by combining 10 US
College Basketball games and 3 NHL matches with prices ranging from $1.30
to $3.25
Chalmers was a $2.60 chance to win his
group with Allenby favourite at $2.60 and Manassero $3.25.
He duly completed his part by shooting an
opening round of 2-under (69) while Allenby shot +2 (73) and Manassero +5
(76)
The bet was $5 at the odds of $2,994.28
returning a tidy sum of $14,971.40

BOXING
TAB
Sportsbet customers were certainly on the mark in last night's WBC
Crusierweight title fight when they backed Krzysztof Wlodarczyk to take
the bout.
The Polish fighter was
backed from a $2.25 outsider to start the bout as the $1.70 favourite.
"It was a good 'go'
and our customers were vindicated with their faith in the Pole," said TAB
Sportsbet Glenn Munsie. "He came here with an impressive 45 wins (32 by
KO) and took on one of our best in Danny Green, a man who had only been
knocked out once in a 35 fight career."
Money had run steadily
in favour of the visitor and was at at 2:1 ratio throughout the day
forcing him into being the favourite. This had changed after the first 10
rounds with him looking in trouble and was more than likely behind on
points as they entered the 11th round.
In Live betting Green
was a $1.12 chance at the start of the 11th round with Wlodarcyzk out to
$5 as Green looked to hang on and get the title on a decision.
This was to be the
last round as Wlodarcyzk ended it all by knocking Green down with a right
cross that could also signal Green's last appearance.
A KO win by Wlodarcyzk
also ran the favoured option having firmed from as much as $3.15 to start
the bout at $2.10
RBA DECISION
Mortgage holders throughout Australia will
be cheering if TAB Sportsbet's RBA Interest Rate Decision market for next
Tuesday (Dec 6th) is proven correct.
The current (and very well backed)
favourite is that Interest Rates will Decrease by 0.25%
This option opened at $3 back on Nov 8th
when first markets were posted and has steadily firmed to be now the
dominant $1.65 favourite.
A Decrease by 0.25% is now responsible for
50% of all monies invested.
Just on $55,000 has been invested on the
outcome of the RBA in what has proven to be a very popular form of betting
with TAB Sportsbet customers.
"We have now covered the last 4 or 5 RBA
decisons and the interest has increased dramatically each month. Not only
that but they have been proven correct on most of them so it augurs well
for everyone." said TAB Sportsbet's Media Manager Glenn Munsie.
'There are not many people in the country
that are not affected by these decisions and as in all betting markets you
can get a very good feel as to what is happpening by just following the
market moves."
"It's never going to be a market that
attracts huge individual bets but those in the range of $500 - $3,000 have
been commonplace."
"When you consider we can only offer this
market to our NSW customers the level of activity is huge."
The second most popular option is No Change
with 40% of the total investment. Bets taken today include $2,000 & $,1500
@ $2.60
Savvy financial news followers have been
able to secure amazing odds about all options in the market since it

A-LEAGUE
Season 2011/12 of the Hyundai A League is setting new records at TAB
Sportsbet as customers embrace the competition like never before.
Fox Sports show each match LIVE and with that opportunity turnover on the
2011/12 season is up 80% on 2010/11.
After Round 7, TAB Sportsbet had written a total of 110,198 single bets, a
staggering increase of 90% on the same rounds last year.
Multi bets, incorporating A League options, are also up an amazing 125% to
a total of 65,769 so far this season.
Larger bets are also becoming more commonplace with customer confidence
high in that regard.
Round 8 is no different with a couple of matches attracting attention.
Below is a list of the larger bets placed so far this week.

Brisbane Roar sits atop the table after 7 rounds with one punter keen on
them to go back-to-back in 2011/12.
They placed $20,000 @ $5.00 on Brisbane after Round 1 this year.
13th October 2011
Big Bets
$35,000 at $2.80 Texas (World Series winner)
$25,000 at $2.50 Novak Djokovic (Aussie Open)
$20,000 at $5 Brisbane Roar (A-League winner)
$11,000 at $23 France (RWC winner)
Roar all the rage in A-League
One person liked the look of the Brisbane Roar in winning their first
round match against the Mariners.
First thing on Monday morning they placed $20,000 at $5 to win the
Grand Final. That was enough to bring them into equal favourite with
Melbourne Victory at $4.50.
The Roar were $6.50 before winning round 1. The Jets have firmed from $13
to $10 after winning a high-scoring game against the Heart.
Gold Coast might surprise at odds this week when they play the Central
Coast - $3,000 at $4.75. $4,000 at $2.05 on Gold Coast or the draw.
Kangaroos to send Lockyer out a winner in Australia
Australia
are a short-priced favourite ($1.28) to beat New Zealand on Sunday in
Newcastle.
One customer thinks NZ’s defence will hold Australian tryless - $100 @
$101 (No Australia Try)
Punters warm to Wallabies
There has been little support for the Wallabies since they were shock
losers to Ireland early in the tournament.
However, punters are looking past their poor record at Eden Park and
backing them to make the final.
They opened $2.90 and are into $2.80, while New Zealand have drifted from
$1.38 to $1.43.
It is not tipped to be easy for the Wallabies, with punters preferring to
take them by the winning margin of 1-12 at $3.60.
Not the semi final punters expected
France
($2.85) and Wales ($2.05) both caused upsets last week to progress through
to the final four teams.
France
were at their biggest price ($23) to win the Rugby World Cup before kick
off against England. One customer showed plenty of courage after placing
$11,000 at $23 to collect $253,000.
Wales were as much as $126 to win the tournament with one bet of $200 at
$101.
MLB
$35,000 at $2.80 on Texas Rangers to win World Series before game 4
against Detroit. They held a 2-1 lead when the bet was placed.
Another customer secured had $800 at $17 (opening odds) to collect
$13,600.
In the National League, Milwaukee are playing St Louis.
Aussie Open
$25,000 at $2.50 on Novak Djokovic to go back-to-back and win the 2012
Australian Open. He was $8 to win the 2011 Aussie Open.
Djokovic has only lost three matches in 2011, but two of those he retired
injured. The fact he is prone to retire is obviously not a concern for
this punter.
The world number one, dominated the major events this year – winning the
Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open.
Moto GP
Casey Stoner is the short-priced ($1.30) favourite to claim his
fifth-straight Phillip Island title.
If he can win, he will need Jorge Lorenzo to finish outside the top 3 to
claim the Championship. Lorenzo is $1.18 to finish in the top 3.
There is also a (Stoner out) market with Pedrosa the favourite at $1.85
from $Lorenzo $1.95.
Dawson
($1.70) favourite to beat Hopkins ($2.05)
Chad Dawson is expected to beat Bernard Hopkins by decision when they this
weekend.
Even though Hopkins is 46-years-old, this looks like going the distance.
Dawson
by decision is $2.10, while Hopkins is $2.60.

AFL -
Gold Coast v Hawthorn
TAB Sportsbet customers think that there is
something more certain than the sun rising tomorrow morning and that is
the Gold Coast Suns keeping within 75.5 points of Hawthorn when they clash
at Metricon Stadium.
It’s well documented that Hawthorn has
rested 8 of their topline players.
TAB Sportsbet allocated the Suns a mammoth
75.5 point start on Wednesday and the money started almost immediately.
As at 5pm Friday $200,000 has been placed
on the Gold Coast +75.5 forcing the price from $1.90 into $1.24 which is a
record low price in Line betting at TAB Sportsbet.
Hawthorn, on the other hand, has only $559
invested at -75.5 and has drifted from $1.90 to $4
Gold Coast also has support to win the
match firming from an opening quote of $13 to be now $6 with Hawthorn
drifting from $1.01 to be now a $1.12 chance.
Support for the Suns stretches across all
markets such as Halftime Leader, 1st to 25 points, Half/full Double and
Quarter by Quarter leader.
One highly optimistic Suns supporter has
even placed $30 on the Gold Coast winning the match by 100+ points.
The odds $1001
Newcastle v Souths
One punter expects the home ground advantage to be enough for Newcastle
to win. $33,000 @ $1.90 on Knights.
A month ago they looked assured to be in the finals and were $1.10.
Souths on the other hand were $13 to make the top 8 after losing to the
Warriors in round 20.
Top Point scorer
Look for Chris Sandow to extend his 4 point lead over Benji Marshall in
the race for highest point scorer. He was $41 at the start of the year.
Chris Sandow $1.57 (184)
Benji Marshall $2.40 (180)
James Maloney $34 (172)
Top Try Scorer
Nathan Merritt $1.22 (21 tries)
Ben Barba $4.25 (19 tries) - was $8 last week.
Top 4
The Tigers were $67 before they beat North QLD in round 20. Hardly anybody
gave them a chance except a couple of customers who had $10 on them.
AFL Round 24
It is rare you see Collingwood double figures for anything. This week they
are $21 to be the highest scoring team of the round.
Hawthorn are $1.90 (highest scoring team) as they line up against the Gold
Coast. Gold Coast have been well backed to cover 75.5 start with multiple
bets of $5,000.
The customer who had $155,000 @ $2.25 on the Pies to win the minor
premiership will have a bank to play with this weekend.
Fremantle No. of wins
After Freo beat Sydney in round 17, one customer thought they were a sure
thing to win another game. They have lost six straight.
They had $20,000 at $1.20 on them to win 10 games or more. They are stuck
on nine wins and need to beat the Bulldogs on Saturday.
It looks bleak as the Dockers are $7.50.
AFL Wooden Spoon
The Suns opened $4.25 to finish with the spoon, punters quickly snapped it
up.
One customer has: $40,000 at $3.
They will be cheering Port Adelaide ($2.50) to beat Melbourne and hope
Hawks ($1.02) do the job on Gold Coast.
To Make Grand Final
Hawthorn $15,000 @ $2.25
Swans
After causing the 2nd biggest upset of the year against the
Cats the Swans should make light work of the Lions.
At least that is the way TAB Sportsbet customers see the game. Biggest bet
$80,000 @ $1.15 on Swans to win.
One customer thinks history can repeat - $200 @ $405 Swans/ Wests Tigers
premiership double. Just as they did in 2005.
Deutsche Bank Championship
Dustin Johnson is expected to be in the finish one again this week, he is
$17 to go back-to-back.
Brandt Snedeker finished with a final round of 10 under last week, he may
be one to watch. He is $31.
Adam Scott is $17 despite finishing well back in the Barclay’s. Jason Day
is $19.
World Athletic Championships
Usain Bolt opened $1.45 but as the field fell away he got to as short as
$1.05.Winner Yohan Blake paid $8.
Ibrahim Jeilan ($51) caught everybody by surprise in winning the 10,000
metres.

Hawkins, Rachel Finch, Laura Dundovic, Erin McNaught and Jesinta Campbell.

Most Losses:
Gold Coast $1.40 (15)
Parra $4.50 (14)

AFL
TAB Sportsbet's AFL customers are seeing season 2011 as the perfect
foil to repel any GFC dramas.
Favoured sides continue to win with ease and they now see backing all 8
winners in a round as the norm.
One customer this week has placed $5500 on doing just that by selecting
all Round 21 favourites in a Multi.
The sides are Collingwood, Hawthorn, Carlton, Brisbane, Essendon, West
Coast, Sydney and Geelong.
The price in backing all 8 winners this week is $5.99 for a potential
return of $32,945
UPDATE
Betting on Round 21 has been quite quiet until 10 minutes ago when one TAB
Sportsbet customer has certainly changed all that.
The customer has just invested $100,000 that Essendon will defeat Western
Bulldogs this Saturday night.
The bets placed were $53,332 @ $1.75, $26,666 @ $1.70 and then completed
their betting with the remaining $20,002 @ $1.68
Essendon is now into $1.65 with Western Bulldogs out to $2.15

year’s AFL, NRL and Rugby World Cup can go all the way.
They have coupled all 3 in a Multi and placed $13,100 on the treble at the
odds of $9.15
A potential collect of $119,865 awaits if all 3 can take the silverware.

NRL
On the back of their 24-19 loss to Canberra
last night the St George Illawarra Dragons have lost outright NRL
Premiership favouritism for the first time since Round 8 2010.
The Dragons have been joined at the top of
the market at $3.25 by Melbourne who incidentally were $5 equal favs with
them before being stripped of points at Round 8 last year.
St George Illawarra opened as $5.50 2011
NRL favourites when first markets were posted in October 2010. That $5.50
is the largest price they have been.
Melbourne opened on the 3rd line of betting
at $9 behind Sydney roosters $8 and the same price as Brisbane and Souths
(both $9). They were their longest price of $13 at round 4.
AFL
A mounting injury toll at the Western
Bulldogs, which could see more than a handful of top line players
unavailable this week, has resulted in a concerted move for West Coast in
their match this Saturday.
Opening at $1.87 each of 2 at lunchtime
yesterday little action was seen until last night.
Bets of $5800 and $5000 (twice) were taken
on the visitors but the majority of money arrived this morning.
$10000 and $5000 @ $1.85 forced the Eagles
into $1.80 but that didn’t stop the flow with another $5000 taken at the
reduced quote.
Since the last $5000 @ $1.80 more than
$15000 in smaller wagers has been taken.
In all just over $50,000 has been placed on
the West Coast as compared to only $240 on the Dogs.
West Coast is now $1.80 with Western
Bulldogs $1.95
Tour de France
Cadel Evans started on the 3rd line of
betting at $14. Alberto Contador started the favourite at $1.75 from Andy
Schleck $2.90. Schleck was installed favourite after stage 1. We changed
the favourite for the overall winner a total of six times.
It wasn't until after stage 16 that Cadel
Evans was made favourite for the first time at $1.95.
After Andy Schleck's stunning effort in
winning stage 18, he then became the new favourite.
Evans was the $1.50 favourite before the
individual time trial last night. We had a market for Evans to win a stage
which was $3.50. He did that early on winning stage 4. 42% of all
investments on the winner were for Cadel Evans. That compares to the next
most popular, Andy Schleck at 22%.

Joel Selwood’s 4 match suspension for

Carlton’s Chris Judd to go back-to-back in 2011 and take another Brownlow
Medal.
The customer placed the bet this afternoon
in a suburban TAB and took the $3.75 on offer for the Blues’ captain to
make it his 3rd Brownlow.
Selwood was looked upon as a major threat
for this season’s Medal and was rated an $8 chance before falling foul of
the match review panel for his off-the-ball strike on Brent Guerra.
Judd remains as the $3.75 favourite

TAB Sportsbet thinks its bye bye Saints
TAB Sportsbet is giving punters who backed
St Kilda to win the AFL premiership a refund on their investment. “With
the Saints season in disarray leading into the bye, we reckon punters who
backed them in the premiership market deserve their money back,” said TAB
Sportsbet’s Gary Davies.
“We've got plenty of avid Saints fans at
the TAB who are all in mourning thinking that the premiership window might
just be shut. “With our offer any bets placed on the Saints to win the
flag are still 'live' should they come good after the week off, but,
you'll be refunded your original stake so you can take the money and run,
back another team or for the true believers load up again on them at the
$26 currently on offer!”
The offer is for single bets placed between
October 4 last year and last Sunday (April 10) on St Kilda to win the 2011
premiership. Customers need to simply present their ticket to their local
NSW or Victorian TAB by 20 April, (before St Kilda’s next game against
Brisbane on the 21st April) to collect their refund voucher. Multi bets
are excluded from the offer.
TAB account customers will have their
betting accounts automatically topped up. All original bets remain live,
and in the event that the Saints turn their season around and win the
flag, customers will be paid out in full at the end of the season at the
odds received when the bet was initially placed.

The upset
Cronulla started $4.25 outsiders (St George

Two customers fancied the unlikely result
with bets of: $9,000 and $5,000 @ $5.25 placed on a Cronulla win.
One customer didn't have to sweat with
$55,000 on Cronulla +14.5 @ $1.90 (last week) to collect $104,500.
The Dragons down 16-0 (were +10.5 @ $3) The
late try gave some punters a reason to cheer the late four-pointer!
NRL Winner
The Dragons went into Round 2 as $5
favourites, while Cronulla were rank outsiders at $101.
It caps of another week full of upsets
(Penrith $2.60, Brisbane $2.65, Manly $4 and Cronulla $4.25)
For the 2nd week running the Monday Night
outsider has won, carrying on the trend from 2010.
LIVE
As a customer placed $1000 on St George
Illawarra T $1.55 in the 20th minute of their clash with Cronulla tonight
it pushed TAB Sportsbet's hold on the match past the $1,000,000 mark.
This hold typifies the punting popularity
of Monday Night Football at TAB Sportsbet.
Week in and week out TAB Sportsbet will
hold in excess of $1,000,000 on the Monday night match regardless of the
teams which step out.
Even tonight we saw the defending premiers
St George Illawarra pitted against their neighbours Cronulla, who were
coming off a belting in Canberra last Sunday.
Cronulla were well supported both straight
out, firming from $5.25 into $4.25 by kickoff and very popular with the
+14.5 point line.
