In response to a number of email enquiries, OnThePunt decided to do
some research to find out just who the most competitive online bookmakers
(with regard to tennis) are. The results make for interesting reading to say
the least.Two online bookmakers
based in the Netherlands Antilles have come out on top of an OnThePunt
survey into bookmaker competitiveness. Both
Pinnacle and
DirecBet - located on the
island of Curacao about 600 miles south of Miami, USA - are betting ATP
Tennis at just under 104%. Of the major international firms,
Canbet top the
list at a competitive 105.3%, narrowly ahead of the American favourite
Olympic
at 105.9%.
The biggest shock came from UK giant
William Hill, who appear to be showing punters no end of
contempt by betting an outrageous 109.1% tennis book. This is on par with or
worse than several Malta-based shops! But the worst value clearly lies with
a few outlets based in Austria and Cyprus. One agency - who's clientele
can't have seen better - is betting at a massive 117.7%.
Not happy with your bookmaker? Are they
betting at a percentage way too high? Email them with your thoughts - just
click on the the relevant 'email' link below - then all punters will
benefit. *NB. Remember other factors
besides price should be taken into account before betting with any online
bookmaker.
